DIRECTIONS FROM NEW ORLEANS AND BATON ROUGE Take I-10 West (From New Orleans) or East (From Baton Rouge) to exit #182 (La. 22 to Donaldsonville). Turn left on Hwy. 22, go .4 miles and turn left on La. 70. Follow the signs directing you to the Sunshine Bridge. (Hwy. 70). Cross the Sunshine Bridge. About ¼ mile turn right on the street next to the Best Western (Hwy. 3120). Travel down Hwy. 3120 until it intersects with Mississippi St. (Hwy. 18) at the Levee. Turn left on Mississippi St. and travel about 2 miles to Railroad Avenue. You will now be in historic downtown Donaldsonville. Turn left on Railroad Avenue (Landmarks are Hibernia bank and the Donaldsonville Museum on the left hand side - the Mississippi River is to your right. The Grapevine Cafe' and Gallery is located approximately two city blocks up Railroad. The actual address is: 211 Railroad Avenue. It is a 2 story 1920's commercial building with a green striped canvas awning. Approximately 1 hour driving time. DIRECTIONS FROM LAFAYETTE Take I-10 east towards Baton Rouge. Take a right towards the Plaquemine exit (Hwy. 1) which is just before you cross the Mississippi River Bridge. Continue on Hwy. 1 South through Plaquemine and White Castle until you get to Donaldsonville. Turn left on Railroad Avenue (just before the McDonald’s).
